Eva Papp is a licensed psychotherapist (LMHC, Washington State) with twenty-five years of clinical experience, specializing in integrative medicine, interpersonal neurobiology, and relational dynamics in clinical practice.

Across two and a half decades of treating clients, she developed a model of wellbeing based on the pursuit of authenticity — a model that teaches boundary-making as a skill of presence, discernment, and flexibility, grounded in awareness of self and context. Active Authenticity, her model, is the subject of her 2024 book Chasing the Wild Authentic, and informs her teaching with healthcare professionals.

Eva also brings a multidisciplinary background to her teaching, including graduate fieldwork on non-Western models of healing and meaning-making, and a role as the psychotherapist on the NIH team that received the first IRB approval to study ayahuasca in clinical contexts. Her work integrates clinical and field research with a deep curiosity about how humans thrive — and what it takes to sustain that thriving across a long career.

Eva holds CE accreditation through the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) and teaches public CE workshops for nurses at Seattle University, where she will be delivering her Authentic Boundaries in Nursing seminars in fall 2026.
